Stop Comparing Yourself

We all use social media, and if used in the correct way it can be a great medium to connect with our dearest. But stop for a minute and see if you have developed a theme of comparison.

COMPARISON IS THE GREATEST THEIF OF JOY, digest that guys, like really take that in statement in. It is not about other people it is all about you, the ego creates separation

A lot of us are living up to societies expectations, when we feel we do not add up, we beat ourselves up. We are all guilty of doing this at some point in our lives. We wake up and literally have social media for breakfast, we reach straight to the instaragram and scroll through our news feed, we see glamrous photos of our peers, or celebrities living what appears to us as their best life and we some how feel not good enough within our selves. We do not know what is going on behind the scenes, we are only seeing a small snippet, we are not seeing the whole picture. We compare our day1 with someones 10 years journey. Remember that most of these people having been grinding for years to get to where they are. And by comparing ourselves with someone else we are telling God that we are not worthy in the image he has created us in. Count your blessings and not your problems. Give thanks every single day. Keep a gratitude journal, this defiantly became my best friend, i realised that no body is me, and nobody is you. Honour other people, love and appreciate them for who they are, but most of all love yourself for your uniqueness. Embrace that Ssss

Practise self love, know the real you, and love the skin your in. Someone else sucess is not your failure. Repeat and remember this….comparrison.jpg
