Instagram Anxiety

I have been addicted to posting my best moments on Instagram. Scrolling becomes an addiction. If I am not at my best I do not post anything.
I knew I had a problem when I became anxious about my posts. I would experience anxiety. That was the the straw that broke the camels back for me. I then started working on my internal feelings whilst slowly breaking away from the external validation.
I say that the best advice to the younger generations is to know yourself offline. Depart from the social media bubble. I know it may sound old fashioned to some of you, but read a book, yes you heard me, a book. Meditate, learn a new language, travel, journal, take the journey inside yourself. Once you have built a whole person you can then share with the world how you overcame your social media addiction.
There is a whole new person story waiting to be shared and heard.
What are you waiting for.
